Southern Maine Coast, August 6, 2010

This is near the George and Barbara Bush house
at Kennebunkport. We had dinner there. The
waitress said the Bush'es had been in the night
before.

We went to the LL Bean store. Probably the

most memorable part of this will be the traffic

jams due to 4 or 5 separate accidents on all

the major highways in the area. The whole

road system was just a slow moving parking lot!

Lake Winnipasaukee, New Hampshire

at Center Harbor. We drove up here to the

Keepsake Quilt Store (It's quite a big store,

they put out a mail order catalog.) Joan is

a quilter and she shopped there while the

guys and I toured around the area. NH is a

beautiful state, low mountains thickly forested.
